Construction of a historical concept Bridge over Mtkvari River in Mtskheta

The project envisages the construction of a 103-meter metal arched bridge at the main entrance of the city of Mtskheta, over the Mtkvari river, architectural appearance of which repeats the concept of the historical Pompeius Bridge.

The main construction works have been completed. 4,245 m3 of concrete, 89,500 kilograms of reinforcement, 425.7 tons of structural high-strength steel, and 14.6 tons of bolts were used for the construction of the bridge piers.

Construction of the roadway of the bridge is proceeding, - concrete, asphalt pavement and improvement works.
