Construction of a road bridge in Zahesi settlement in Tbilisi (2017)

Zahesi bridge - the construction of the first new road bridge over the Mtkvari river in Tbilisi, after the restoration of Georgia's independence. The design and construction of the building was carried out in a tight time frame. The volume of earthworks is ~58000 m3, reinforced concrete works 2000 m3, steel constructions 250 tons.

The new high-capacity bridge was built with a 50-year service life. Sidewalks were added to the bridge and a new network of exterior lighting was installed. The old bridge of Zahesi next to the new bridge was repaired at the expense of the communication companies and it will be a conduit for the communication system.

The new bridge is connected to both banks of Mtkvari by a single-level crossing.
